The standard we are working towards across the website.
Access should be designed in, not added afterwards.
We want visuallysonic.com to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability, technology or method of access.
The website has not yet undergone a complete independent accessibility audit.
We will update this statement as testing and improvements continue.
Designing for different ways of experiencing the web.
Visually Sonic Ltd is committed to improving the accessibility and usability of this website. We aim to design and maintain the site in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at Level AA.
Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time claim. Our website includes film, animation, interactive demonstrations, audio and experimental interfaces, so we regularly need to assess both conventional content and newer forms of digital experience.
What we aim to make possible.
We are working to ensure that visitors can:
- navigate the website using a keyboard without relying on a mouse;
- zoom text and page content without losing essential information or functionality;
- use the site with common screen readers and assistive technologies;
- understand page structure through clear headings, labels and link text;
- pause or avoid non-essential animation where reduced-motion settings are enabled;
- access meaningful text alternatives for informative imagery;
- understand video and audio content through captions, transcripts or alternative explanations where available.
Most modern browsers and operating systems allow you to enlarge text, increase contrast, use text-to-speech, navigate by keyboard and reduce motion.
We are not claiming full compliance before testing is complete.
This website is being reviewed against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. At the date of this statement, it has not been subject to a complete independent accessibility audit. We therefore do not describe the website as fully compliant.
We are reviewing representative pages, navigation, forms, media, colour contrast, keyboard operation, focus states, responsive layouts and custom interactive components.
Areas that may not yet work equally well for everyone.
Because the website is being rebuilt and reviewed, some limitations may remain. These may include:
- some older video or audio content may not yet include complete captions or transcripts;
- some experimental canvas animations and interactive demonstrations may offer less information to screen-reader users than their visual presentation provides;
- some third-party embeds, media players or externally hosted content may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control;
- some decorative animation may be visually complex, although we aim to respect reduced-motion preferences;
- some older images or project material may require improved alternative text;
- occasional colour combinations or focus states may require further refinement as testing continues.
We are prioritising improvements that affect navigation, comprehension, forms, essential media and access to core service information.

How this statement is maintained.
This statement was prepared on 17 June 2026. It will be reviewed after the current website rebuild and accessibility assessment, and whenever substantial changes are made to the site.
Testing may include automated checks, keyboard-only navigation, zoom and reflow checks, reduced-motion testing, colour-contrast review, screen-reader testing and manual inspection of interactive components.
Once a representative assessment has been completed, this statement will be updated with the testing date, method, pages sampled and confirmed compliance status.
